About Us
We started somehow as a father and son collaboration although our musical tastes are varied in many ways. Nico places much of his photographic work on spontaneous decisions which in the large part work wonderfully well.
We embarked on this venture in August 2010 and in a very short period of time we have artists that we could never have imagined would come to us to place out such wonderful work. We both hope this will grow for the better and for the genre’s expressed.
This year will be a busy one, with the introduction of our new postcard sister label www.twistedtreeline.co.uk, with numerous artists coming aboard. We will also try new ways of album design, always venturing into new avenues of art. Some special editions will be available throughout the year and more news on this will be on a slightly different home page.
Our first year went better than expected and we are full of enthusiasm for the forthcoming year. A big thank you for all your support for making this all possible.
I guess its every fathers dream to work alongside his children, and I am indeed lucky to have this today.
We both hope you enjoy the works that we put out and are grateful for the support that you all show.
Julia Dewhirst will now be joining Somehow Recordings and TTL as part of the team
to give a much needed feminine touch. We welcome her and here is a list of her websites:

Somehow Recordings was created by tim david brice & nico brice in 2010 as a non profit organisation of ambient, drone & field recordings. Its object is to advance our love of these genre’s to the wider audience and to progress artists and their work to their full potential.
